helsinki-pass.com is an independent information and purchase site for the Helsinki Card. The Helsinki Card is the sightseeing pass for Helsinki, issued by Helsinki Expert. It covers entry to the city's museums and sights, each once, plus a city bus tour and boat cruises, and it doubles as a ticket across the HSL network: bus, tram, metro, commuter train and the ferry to Suomenlinna. It runs for 24 or 48 hours.

The card is timed, not dated, and the clock starts the moment you first tap it, which turns activation into the real decision. Tap at Helsinki-Vantaa and the commuter train into the centre is covered, but half an hour of a 24-hour window is gone before you reach a museum; wait, and you pay for that ride separately. The rest follows the same arithmetic: every venue is free once, the sightseeing tour switches between a summer hop-on hop-off bus and a winter panorama coach, and Suomenlinna lies offshore on a ferry the card already includes.
